One caution worth respecting. Use a medium-fine grind. Anything finer packs tight and clogs the basket, and you will spend longer clearing it than you did brewing.

The brewing assembly separates, so you rinse the parts under a tap rather than trying to reach coffee grounds through a spout. No filters to buy and nothing to descale.
