The ceramic nonstick saute pan, 4-quart, is the largest in its range, sized for a full family dinner in a single pan. The four-quart capacity and high straight sides let you brown, add liquid and braise without moving food to a second pot.

What it is for

One-pan dinners for four or more: shallow frying, braising, and large batches of vegetables. The wide base browns food instead of steaming it, and the ceramic surface releases delicate items like fish. The riveted stainless steel handle stays cool on the stovetop and the pan is oven safe to 400F (205C).

Care

Ceramic nonstick does not need high heat and lasts longer on low to medium. Use a little oil or butter, never an aerosol spray, and never heat the pan empty. Use silicone, nylon or wood utensils. Let the pan cool before washing with a soft sponge and warm soapy water.
