Silicone Half-Sphere Mold, 6 Cavity

Half spheres are the base of a lot of showpiece work. Two domes joined at the rim make a filled chocolate ball, and a single dome unmolded onto a plate is the standard shape for mousse, panna cotta and set jelly.

Push, do not pry

Each cavity releases by pushing from underneath, so the dome comes out with its curve intact and its surface unmarked. With a rigid tray you would be running a knife around the edge and losing the shine.
